The Many Talents of Anaya Cochran

Mama says I have many talents so I thought I would share some with you. This is a painting that I did in art class. I am particularly proud of it. It's on our fridge. I like it so much that I didn't want to turn it around so Mama could take a picture of it.

Here I am doing an interpretation of the Itsy Bitsy Spider. I sing, too, but mostly just "Da Da Da". Mama calls it babbling, but she sings in other languages all the time. Who's to say that I am not speaking spider, huh Mama?

"And washed the spider out...da da da"

"Out came the (very small) sun and dried up all the rain...hey wait...this is Portland!"

Mama calls this my trail of favorite things: pacifier, blue Doh Doh, bells, and blankie. I prefer to think of it as a still life waiting to be painted.

Speaking of Doh Doh, I am rather good at making Doh Doh cookies.

You put the cookie cutter on top like this, and voila!

You get this thing ("this" is said with a big lisp - hey, I'm only 19 months...).

Which means, "I love you" (which is what I'm signing).
